How to Fix the Sun Visor on the Toyota Camry

The sun visor mechanism can break. You can buy a new visor or restore the mechanism at a significantly lower cost. Let's proceed with the second option; remove the sun visor and, using a screwdriver, take off the cover that hides the clips securing the mechanism. Now pull the mounting bracket outward. With the visor and its mechanism on the workbench, put everything back together. Join the two parts that make up the visor and create a reinforcement with a strip of aluminum held by a through bolt and a nut. Now you can sew the fabric parts covering the visor and reinsert everything that has been restored.
