Replacing the flat battery in your Toyota Corolla MK4 remote is a very simple task. You only need a small flat-head screwdriver (or a prying tool) and, of course, a replacement battery, model CR2450, 3V. First, remove the emergency key by pressing the designated button. Then, as you can see in the video, separate the remote into two halves by prying with the screwdriver in the indicated slot. Once the two halves are separated, extract the internal circuit, which has the battery on its back that you will replace, ensuring the correct polarity. Now, simply reassemble everything.
