To replace the coolant in a Toyota Highlander, access the underside of the car to remove the bolts securing the protective panel underneath. After removing this panel, you can open the drain plug of the coolant reservoir: position a container underneath to collect the old coolant and close the reservoir once it has fully drained. After removal, open the bonnet and unscrew the cap of the reservoir, refill it, and close the bonnet.
