Filling the Cooling System with Antifreeze

The cylinder-piston system generates friction and consequently high temperatures: antifreeze mixed with demineralised water forms the coolant, which also serves to protect the engine from excessive temperatures (which would primarily compromise its lifespan) and control the engine oil temperatures; without it, evaporation and residues would be a risk. When filling the engine's cooling system, always use antifreeze, and it is very important that no air bubbles are generated in the system during this phase: there is usually a valve on the system for bleeding, as shown in the video. The coolant for engines should typically be changed every two years.
