How to Calibrate the Fuel Gauge on a Toyota Prius

To calibrate the fuel gauge on a Toyota Prius, press and hold the ODO TRIP button located on the central dashboard panel, just below the display. While continuing to hold this button, you can calibrate the fuel gauge so that it is no longer variable. This is a common issue with most Toyotas; after completing the procedure, you can turn off the instrument cluster completely and, upon turning it on again, check that the operation was successful.
