How to Remove the Fuel Filter on a Toyota Prius

How do you remove the fuel filter from your Toyota Prius? First, remove the rear seat cushions from the car. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the bolts securing the metal cap: take it out from its seat and use absorbent paper around the perimeter to soak up any liquid leaks. Use a chisel to unscrew the large securing pin of the fuel pump, disconnect the power connectors and the fuel return hoses. Extract the fuel pump assembly from its housing. Finally, remove the fuel filter located inside.
