Replacing the fuel filter on a Toyota Prius? Remove the rear seat cushions to access the car's tank. Unscrew the securing bolts of the metal cap with a socket wrench and remove it from its seat. Wrap the entire perimeter of the metal sheet with absorbent paper or cloth, then unscrew the securing pins located on the sides with a socket wrench. Disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation pipes, then extract the fuel pump assembly. Remove the fuel filter from inside the float plastics. Install a new fuel filter inside the plastics.
