If the ignition battery in your vehicle is completely dead, you need to replace it. The text below contains all the useful and necessary information for a correct and safe replacement. Once you open the hood, locate the battery on the left side of the compartment. First, disconnect the negative terminal, then the positive terminal. Remove the mounting bracket on top, then pull the battery out of its housing. Take the new battery and insert it into the compartment, then reconnect the positive terminal first, followed by the negative terminal, and finally reattach the upper plate.
