This video tutorial shows you step by step how to replace the key battery in a 2019 Toyota Yaris. The procedure is very simple and requires little time to complete.

The only tools needed are two flathead screwdrivers. To replace the key battery, first use a flathead screwdriver to pry open the central part of the key at the bottom to remove the cover.

Once the cover is removed, use a smaller flathead screwdriver to lift and remove the old battery. After removing the old battery, insert the new battery and then close the key by pressing the cover back on with your fingers.
