How to Replace the Stereo in a Toyota Rav 4

To protect any delicate circuits, disconnect the battery cables. Now remove the bolts securing the trim around the stereo and air vents, allowing you to pull it out by hand. Next, remove the bolts securing the stereo to the structure of your vehicle. This will enable you to disconnect the plugs connected to the back of your old stereo. You can now extract the entire stereo unit. For reassembly, reverse all the steps described above.
