To replace the air filter that feeds the injection system of the Toyota Aygo, open the bonnet of the engine compartment, secure it with its prop rod, and locate the filter cover in the centre of the engine. Unclip the four metal clips on the right side and rotate the cover to the left to reveal the old filter element; remove it and thoroughly clean the box from any dirt with a vacuum cleaner.

Insert a new filter, ensuring the rubber edge adheres well to the box edge, close the cover, and secure it with the metal clips.
