How to disassemble the carburetor on Minarelli 50 engine

In this video we can see how to disassemble a 21 phpg carburetor on a 50cc Minarelli engine. First place the scooter on a stand to work safely. If you have the filter open, you have to remove it; to loosen it, find a screw at the entrance; then insert the screwdriver and unscrew the screw until the filter is removed from its seat. You will now have the filter and carburetor; now you have to remove it from the lamellar heel. To unscrew it, insert the screwdrivers from behind, then you have to pull it. At this point we see that there are tubes attached. To remove the stop from the tube you have to hold the carburetor still and with pliers, you should be able to unhook it and remove the tube. If you have a broken vacuum pump, be careful because the petrol tank will empty and it will drop. Now the carburetor is only attached to the gas line. Now that the carburetor is free, it is necessary to unscrew all the screws (air and bowl etc.). At this point we can act on the internal components.

How to replace the air filter on Aprilia SR 50?

The replacement of the Aprilia SR 50 air filter is carried out by unscrewing the screws that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, immediately above that of the transmission. Once the screws have been loosened and the cover is open, it will be possible to go and take out the old air filter that is inside it, so that it can be replaced with a new spare part. After installing the new filter, it will be possible to seal it in its seat by fixing the cover with the special screws removed previously.
