The following video tutorial will show you the steps to remove and renew the metal cover of the gear knob of a car. Using a flathead screwdriver, we remove the cover and then sandpaper to matte and clean the entire area. We degrease and clean before moving on to polishing the cover. We spray water on the cover to improve adhesion with the gear shift markings. Once finished, we can insert the metal cover on the gear knob. This operation allows us to restore the knob without having to replace it.

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
