Let's learn to use our rearview mirrors, both internal and external, to the best of our ability. We should never rely completely on the internal mirror, because it is meant to see what is within the vehicle's silhouette, while the external ones are used to see beyond the silhouette. While it is natural to look at the left mirror, as it is closer, when moving to the right, it is natural to look at the central one, which only shows us what is far away, and what we have behind us can only be seen with the right mirror. Another suggestion is to use the turn signal when deciding to change lanes, without waiting to use it when the road is clear, as this can confuse those behind us. Remember that when changing lanes, we should always look at the external mirrors, as they show what is beyond the silhouette; the central mirror can be ignored: it is only for driving.
