An artisanal method to clean headlights with acetone vapors.

This video shows us how to renew our headlights that have become opaque, using acetone vapors (and with a thorough cleaning, of course). We will need a large bowl, water, and sandpaper with grits of 800 and 2000. We will pass the wet 800 grit sandpaper twice, then the 2000 grit, then with a fine polish for the bodywork and the 2000 grit; we will then use a glass cleaner. Now we empty a can of any drink, making a small hole in it with a drill. We wash it well and then fill it halfway with acetone; yes, the one used for nails. We insert a bendy straw, cut off a part and seal it with silicone. Now we light a candle under the can and let the acetone vapors do all the work, which we will slowly pass over the entire surface of the headlight: enjoy the result!
