If our car is a bit old and has a lot of kilometers on the odometer, it is likely that the gear lever has some play, so much so that it "rocks" without the gears engaging. The youtuber shows us how to remedy this problem.

We remove the gear knob from the lever, and put some simple electrician's clamps under the bushing that engages the gears, cutting them to size so that they do not protrude, after we have put the knob back in place. In this way we will have recreated the original thickness, having spent almost nothing, and the result will be almost like new.
