Sometimes removing the headrest from your car can be a complicated operation. There are definitely some cars on which the situation is more complex than others, but on most cars the stops are made more or less in the same way and are plastic rings that have a small hole on one side that makes removal easier.

We will need a paper clip, or a roller shutter hook like the one we see in the youtuber's hand: we can find a whole set of 4 of these hooks in various shapes for example on Amazon with code B00HBTJL08 for the price of 8.06 euros, free delivery for Prime customers.

By inserting the hook into the hole, we will simply move the spring inside, in order to make it come out. If the headrest does not have a hole, we will use the same hook to lever it and pull it up gently.
