Can car wraps damage the paint?

One question that many users ask is this: does the film used for wrapping a car damage the paint? From watching the video, one might say no, but the answer is not the same for everyone, as it depends on many factors. The quality of the paint on which the film is applied is important: if the paint job is of excellent quality, it is almost certain that no damage will occur. It is equally true that the skill of the person applying the film is a primary factor, because a wrap that requires too much adhesive will inevitably lead to the detachment of some paint when we decide to remove it. Furthermore, we should consider that moisture could form between the film and the paint, which could lead to the development of mold or rust. In any case, a film should not remain on a vehicle for more than three or four years, and it is not advisable to leave it too exposed to extreme weather conditions.
