Here’s how to connect a DAB antenna in your car. The components of the antenna are the copper plate, the adhesive membrane, the control unit, and the cable with the micro-USB connector. Choose a corner of the windscreen (usually behind the passenger side mirror) and attach it firmly, ensuring there are no air bubbles. The copper plate must make direct contact with the metal of the bodywork, so scrape off the paint where you attach the plate; otherwise, it won't make contact and the antenna won't work. Connect the cable to the DAB control unit, which should be placed in a hidden but accessible location (for example, in the glove compartment). A cable with a micro USB connector exits from the control unit, which you will connect to the car radio. Perform a final test; if the radio is Android, the DAB app will appear.
