How to Install an Amplified Antenna on a Car

To connect an amplified antenna (booster) for a car radio, you need to remove the radio from the dashboard slot and locate the antenna connection cable with the corresponding adapter. Disconnect the cable from the radio and connect the male adapter of the amplified antenna. Then connect the female adapter of the amplifier to the cable coming from the vehicle. Next, locate the red wire from the amplifier and connect it to the vehicle's terminal block along with the other existing red wire using a double connector. Finally, reinstall the radio.
