To be able to replace the rear brake pads on an Audi car that is equipped with the electric brake that blocks the rear caliper. Therefore, to proceed with the replacement it will be necessary to unlock the brake with the OBD eleven diagnostic system. First of all, with the diagnostics, we will deactivate the electric brake and start the pad change mode. We disassemble the rim and lift the car, then unscrew the fixing bolts of the brake caliper and remove the pads. We take the new pads and mount them, after which we tighten everything again and proceed in the same way on the other rear wheel. Finally with the diagnostics we reset the electric parking brake.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo
