How to open a stuck bonnet? It is easier than it seems. When the bonnet release handle of your vehicle appears detached, preventing the bonnet from opening, hold it in the open position with a lever. Go to the front of the vehicle; give a tap at the point where the mechanism is stuck (if one tap isn't enough, give several until it opens). At this point, you will see the mechanism. Two problems may have occurred: 1) lack of strength in the spring 2) poor lubrication of the spring.
