In this video tutorial and in the description below, you can find instructions on how to clean a lambda sensor, or an oxygen sensor. Once the sensor is removed, it will likely be significantly dirty due to carbon deposits and combustion residues.

To accurately dissolve these residues, you can use a flame that you will pass over the sensor head to melt and dissolve all impurities and residues. Next, use a wire brush to remove the last unburnt materials and then proceed to refit the sensor.
