In this video, we look at mistakes commonly made with an automatic gearbox that are best avoided. First: putting the car in "neutral" while still moving to take advantage of the vehicle's inertia. This should not be done, as it loses the engine braking function. Second: when stopped in traffic, putting the car in "neutral" is pointless, as the clutch disengagement happens automatically when you press the brake pedal. Third: during manoeuvres, you might switch too quickly between "drive" and "reverse" to slow down the vehicle. It is essential to stop to engage the gear and then move. Lastly: there is no direct dialogue with the gears, so it is unnecessary to floor the accelerator; just keep your foot lightly on the pedal, and the car will perform well and consume less fuel.

How to Open the Bonnet of a Renault Megane if the Lever is Broken?

If the lever that unlocks the bonnet of the Renault Megane is broken or not functioning, there is an emergency procedure to unlock the mechanism: remove the right front grille located at the top of the bumper. Once the grille is removed, you can locate the actuator mechanism: by pulling the spring in this position, you can unlock the actuator, allowing you to lift the bonnet and access the components located inside the engine compartment. You can then close the bonnet simply by lowering it.
