How to reset the throttle position sensor

In this video, we see how to reset the throttle position sensor: the first method is very quick: turn off the car, wait 10 seconds, and then turn on the ignition without touching anything, letting the ECU recalibrate the sensor. Turn off the car and then restart normally. If the first method doesn't work, try disconnecting the negative battery cable; wait 10 minutes to discharge any residual energy, reconnect the cable, turn on the ignition and then the engine, letting it idle for 10 minutes without touching the accelerator. Turn off and then restart to test the response. If this doesn't work either, we need to reprogram the sensor: disconnect the negative battery terminal for 2 minutes, then reconnect the cable and turn on the ignition: we should hear the throttle body buzz, a sign that recalibration is in progress. Wait five minutes then turn everything off. Start the engine and keep it idling for 10 minutes without accelerating, then do a test drive. However, it is essential to keep the throttle body clean, using a specific product to prevent dirt buildup.
