Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable, remove the throttle body, loosen the 4 bolts, and disconnect the electrical connectors and air hoses. Spray the cleaner directly onto the internal walls and the valve; scrub with the brush to remove carbon and oil deposits, then use sandpaper to remove tougher residues; wipe away the remnants with a microfiber cloth, ensuring it is completely dry before reassembling, then reconnect the hoses and connectors and tighten the bolts without over-tightening.
