In this video, the YouTuber provides essential information regarding the management of a car's headlining that is coming loose. The first thing to know is that the headlining is made of a fabric bonded to a foam backing: this orange foam, when it deteriorates, dries out and crumbles, staining everything it comes into contact with, sometimes irreversibly. Another thing to know is that it is not possible to re-adhere the loose part, firstly because the foam has lost its consistency, and secondly because there is no adhesive suitable for the purpose: silicone would leave it damp, cyanoacrylate would burn it, and normal glues would not hold. The only solution is to regenerate it, but the work must be done by a specialist.
