Where to place the fuel cap while refuelling

In this video, we see that almost all vehicles have a safe place to rest the fuel cap while refuelling with petrol or diesel. Typically, this is a holder located at the junction between the flap and the lock. It may be a recess to fit a standard round cap, or a housing to insert the pin that keeps the cap open, which may include a hook to prevent the cap from falling. If the cap has no additional security, it simply rests in a compartment that prevents it from dropping. If you didn't know, take a closer look at your fuel flap.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
