Replacing the Front Brake Disc

Model: (Various brands) Lanos - Years 1997-2002

First, lift the front of the car using a jack. Remove the front wheel. Remove the brake caliper by unscrewing the two bolts with the appropriate spanners. Use a screwdriver to pry the caliper to decompress it and extract it. Remove the caliper housing by unscrewing the bolts with the proper spanner. Now unscrew the screw holding the disc and slide it off from its position. Replace the disc with the new one, ensuring the screw hole aligns. Perform all previously mentioned operations in reverse order. Pay particular attention to the installation of the brake pads, which must be positioned so that the caliper does not compress them. The operation is performed on a Daewoo Lanos. The tools required are: a power drill, a hammer, large screwdrivers, and appropriate spanners.
