It is common to fill the windscreen washer reservoir with just water, which is a mistake for several reasons:
- Water does not provide adequate cleaning;
- Limescale can clog the nozzles and pump;
- In low temperatures, water freezes, expanding and potentially breaking the reservoir.
For all these reasons, it is essential to fill the windscreen washer reservoir with a suitable product that not only ensures excellent cleaning but also contains an antifreeze additive. You can choose ready-to-use products or concentrated solutions that should be diluted in distilled water.
