This video shows how to avoid mistakes that can make installing a child seat in your car potentially dangerous: first, read the instructions that come with the seat. "0+" type seats (for weights under 6 kg) must be installed facing the rear of the vehicle.

Seats from subsequent groups should be oriented in the direction of travel, and the best position is in the centre of the rear seat, especially if the seats have Isofix attachments and the seatbelts have three-point attachments.

Remember that if you want to install the seat in the front passenger seat, it must always be installed facing the rear, and in this case, the passenger airbag must be deactivated. If your car does not allow this, then place the seat in the rear or risk causing very serious harm to the child in the event of an accident.

If the seat has been involved in an accident, it must be replaced.
