How to Restore the Valve Cover of a Car

The valve cover located inside the engine bay may require servicing over time, as it can wear and become damaged. Today, with the help of this video tutorial, you will learn how to restore your valve cover. Start by removing the components that obstruct the removal of the cover using a spanner; in our case, remove the air hose and some engine wiring. Once the obstructing parts are removed, unscrew the nuts and bolts securing the cover, using WD-40 to lubricate them before removal. After removing the fasteners, take off all the gaskets present on the cover and clean both the inside and outside of the cover with AKRA ENGINE spray. Use a specific product to remove the paint from the cover, and once dry, begin painting it. Install the new gaskets and refit the cover in its place.
