In this tutorial we can see how to reset the automatic transmission control unit in a BMW, a very simple and quick operation, to be carried out for example in case of malfunction or after a change of ownership. First of all, let's go inside the car, then turn on the instrument panel and not the engine. Press the accelerator pedal all the way down, wait at least 30 seconds with the pedal in position, release it and turn off the vehicle. Start the engine afterwards and check that the problem is actually solved, otherwise we will have to go to an official BMW workshop.
