To replace the gear knob on Renault and Dacia vehicles, position the gear lever in neutral and then lift the gear gaiter using a flat-head screwdriver. Next, rotate the knob and pull it upwards.

Be careful during this operation not to break the internal mechanism of the gearbox. The replacement can be purchased as a kit including the gaiter and screws from both online auto parts retailers and physical stores in your area.

To install just the knob, insert it and rotate it gently.
