Today we will explain how to replace the gear knob on Peugeot and Citroën vehicles. To perform this simple operation, we need to use a needle-nose pliers. We remove the damaged knob by pulling it outwards, then we remove the gear lever boot by lifting the sides and unhooking it by cutting the tie strap using the pliers. Once we have removed the gear lever boot, we insert the new reference base inside the knob. We then insert the boot and finally insert the new knob by simply pressing it inwards. All that's left is to test the operation of our gear lever.
