How to replace the gear knob of Peugeot and Citroen vehicles

Model: (Various brands) Various
Part: Shift knob

Video tutorial

Today we will explain how to replace the gear knob on Peugeot and Citroën vehicles. To perform this simple operation, we need to use a needle-nose pliers.

We remove the damaged knob by pulling it outwards, then we remove the gear lever boot by lifting the sides and unhooking it by cutting the tie strap using the pliers. Once we have removed the gear lever boot, we insert the new reference base inside the knob.

We then insert the boot and finally insert the new knob by simply pressing it inwards. All that's left is to test the operation of our gear lever.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
