How do you remove the headrest of the Volkswagen Touran?

In order to remove the headrest of the Volkswagen Touran, you need to use an object to lever up the small circular covering panel located at the base of the left headrest support. Under this covering panel, you will find a small button that needs to be held down using the object as a lever. By holding down this button, you can extract the headrest completely from its housing inside the backrest; to secure it back, simply insert it again and push it downwards.
