To remove the headrest from the Volkswagen Touran, you need to lever with an object to lift the small circular trim panel located at the base of the left support of the headrest. Under this trim panel, you will find a small button that must be pressed while using the lever object.

While holding this button, you can extract the headrest completely from its housing in the backrest; to secure it, simply insert it back and push it down.
