In this tutorial we can see how to replace the starter motor in the Volkswagen Golf, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the key is not inserted, so that you can work safely, then open the engine hood and, starting from the negative terminal, disconnect both battery terminals. Next, remove both the battery and its support plate, disconnect the positive power pole of the starter motor and continue by disconnecting the indicated plastic connector. At this point, we can unscrew the fixing bolts, separate the starter motor from the support and install the replacement.
