How to replace the starter motor of a Volkswagen Golf?

To replace the starter motor of a Volkswagen Golf, start by disconnecting the negative battery cable to avoid short circuits. Locate the starter motor, located on the side of the engine, near the gearbox. Remove the electrical connections and power cables connected to the starter motor. Use a wrench to remove the mounting bolts that hold the starter motor in place, being careful to support it while doing so. Once the bolts are removed, extract the starter motor from its housing. Before installing the new starter motor, compare it with the old one to ensure they are identical and compatible. Install the new starter motor, screwing in the mounting bolts and reconnecting the electrical cables. Make sure all connections are tight and secure. Finally, reconnect the negative battery cable. Test the new starter motor by starting the car and make sure it works properly. If everything is in order, you have successfully completed the replacement of the starter motor of your Volkswagen Golf.
