In this video we see how to change the battery of the Volkswagen Golf VII remote control when the battery is running low and a message appears on the central display of the instrument panel to notify us. To change the battery, we hold the remote control and press the button to release the metal blade; by applying pressure with our fingers on the remaining housing, we open the back shell. This gives us access to the battery compartment, which we can remove with a sharp object. We replace it with a new CR 2025 battery, making sure to position the positive pole upwards. We close the back shell by pressing firmly.
