In the following article, we will explain how to remove the rear bumper of the Volkswagen Golf 6 in order to replace it. For this operation, you will need a flat-head screwdriver and a Torx T20 key. To remove the bumper, you first need to remove the side lining of the trunk to access the headlight block and remove it by turning it counterclockwise. After removing it, you need to remove the headlight by applying pressure on the sides to unlock the fixing clips. Once the headlights are removed, you need to remove the Torx screws located in the wheel arches and the bottom of the bumper. After removing the screws, use the flat-head screwdriver to apply pressure on the upper fixing clips of the bumper, then lever it outwards to remove it.
