The following steps will show you the procedure for removing and replacing the standard radio in the Volkswagen Touareg. First, get inside the cabin and start by removing the plastic cover around the radio, prying it off from the sides; then remove the upper dashboard cover and unscrew the screws securing the radio, as shown in the video.

At this point, remove the standard radio by disconnecting the electrical connectors at the back; replace it with a new compatible radio or the original if necessary.
