How to Remove the Cabin Fan from a Volkswagen Touareg

Before starting, open the front passenger door of your Volkswagen Touareg. Begin by unclipping and removing the lower cover of the glove compartment. Then, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the cabin fan, and disconnect the electrical connector. This will free the fan from its housing. At this point, you can extract and remove the cabin fan. Once you complete this step, you will have successfully finished the disassembly.
