How do you replace the timing belt of the Volkswagen Polo?

In order to replace the timing belt of the Volkswagen Polo, you need to open the hood so that you can access the components located inside the engine compartment: then you will also need to remove the front right wheel and the inner lining of the corresponding wheel arch. Once these components have been removed, you can loosen the central nut of the belt tensioner pulley, remove it from its seat and thus release the tension of the belt. The new belt can now be inserted to bring it back to tension and checking that everything works properly.
