In this video, we will see how to change the halogen bulbs of a Volkswagen Polo MK5: they are H4 model bulbs, and we always remember that when handling new bulbs, it is strongly recommended to do so with gloves because the sebum of the skin damages the bulb, greatly reducing its lifespan. We open the hood, and unscrew the screws that hold the optical group in place, then disconnect the electrical connector, and horizontally remove the optical group. We remove the back cover, removing the metal safety clamp, then remove the lamp connector, remove it with its lamp holder and replace it completely. We reconnect the bulb, put the cap and the metal clamp back in place and then reattach the optical group, reconnecting the connector and tightening the two fixing screws.
