How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Scirocco?

To completely remove the Service warning light from the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Scirocco, you will need to hold down the button located in the bottom right of the instrument panel while it is turned off. While continuing to hold down the button, you can insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot and turn it to start the instrument panel. Once it has been turned on, you will need to release the button on the right side and press the button on the left side once: this will reset the Service warning light and the instrument panel can be turned off completely.
