How to reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Scirocco?

Model: Volkswagen Scirocco MK 3 - Years 2008-2017
Part: Service warning light

To reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Scirocco, press and hold the button located at the bottom right of the instrument cluster while it is off. While continuing to hold the button, insert the ignition key into the lock and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster. Once it is on, release the button on the right side and press the button on the left side once: this will reset the Service light and the instrument cluster can be turned off.
