How to replace the gear knob in the Volkswagen Golf?

In this tutorial we can see how to replace the gear knob in the Volkswagen Golf, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, let's go inside the car, then, using preferably a plastic spatula so as not to leave marks, we unhook the base of the gear lever by levering along the perimeter of it. We then locate the indicated metal ring, loosen it using a small flat-tipped screwdriver and separate the knob from the shaft by pulling it forcefully upwards. At this point, all that remains is to install the replacement following the reverse procedure.

How to Replace the External Wing Mirror on a Ford C MAX
