In this video, we will see how to remove the gear knob and gaiter on a Volkswagen Golf Mk4. First, get inside the vehicle and unclip the gear gaiter by prying it upwards; then, use a sharp object to detach the clip wrapped between the gaiter and knob, as shown in the video. At this point, separate the knob from the gaiter and replace it with the new one; insert a new clip to secure everything and reassemble the gaiter and knob, placing it back onto the gear lever and securing it properly!
