How do you reset the Climatronic of the Volkswagen Golf?

The Climatronic installed on the Volkswagen Golf can be reset by turning on the instrument panel, then inserting the key into the ignition switch and turning it: once the instrument panel is activated, you can press and hold the A/C button and the button to direct the airflow in front. In this way, you will notice that the lights on the air conditioning controls will flash; as soon as they become steady, you can release the two buttons and you will see that the air conditioning settings have been reset to their initial settings.
