Repairing the Window Regulator Motor and Removing the Door Panel

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012
Part: Power window motor

Before proceeding with disassembly, lower the window by about 5 cm (this aligns the locking pins of the glass with the corresponding access holes for the key).
Detach the cover of the internal handle and unscrew the screws located at both ends (it is suggested to use a magnet to extract them); remove the other screws located just below the lower edge of the panel and detach the panel by pulling it upwards to extract it from the glass scraper seal and disconnecting the connectors attached to it.
Loosen the pins of the glass securing clips and pull the glass up, securing it to the door frame with tape.
Unscrew the securing pins of the soundproofing panel and, after disconnecting the various cable pass-throughs, the window regulator motor, and other connectors, remove it and place it on a workbench.
In this case, there is a repair kit for the window regulator system that includes not only the cord system with stop springs but also the plastic sliders and glass clips.
Proceed with the repair by installing the kit and reassembling everything.
